Each year, we are able to redistribute thousands of dollars into your community. We know your day-to-day challenges and issues. That’s why we strive to support projects that benefit students, professionals and businesses in the health sector.
The more members the Caisse has from the health, social services and life sciences sector, the greater our financial capacity will be to give back to your community.

Here are some of our contributions…
Our Health Team is here to provide financial guidance and support to entrepreneurs in the health and life sciences network (clinics, laboratories, pharmacies, etc.). A turnkey service is offered to healthcare entrepreneurs, with a 360° vision to meet the personal needs of entrepreneurs, their employees and their businesses.
Sixteen scholarships, worth a total of $20,000, are awarded annually to students in health and social services sectors.
Each year, we hold some fifty conferences in partnership with health and social services departments in CEGEPs and universities. Some of the subjects covered include managing student loans, planning and sticking to a budget, and preparing for home ownership. We care about the financial education of our youth.
Each year, five bursaries totalling $5,000 are granted to members who land their first job the in health and social services sectors.
Les Prix Stars du Réseau de la santé (SRS prizes), created by Caisse Desjardins du Réseau de la santé, are designed to highlight and recognize the involvement of professionals in the health and social services network in their efforts to provide better care to the public. A total of $26,000 will be awarded this year. Will you be one of the next Stars?
The Caisse contributes financially to Fonds Éric-Charbonneau, an organization that provides support to paramedics experiencing work-related physical, psychological or emotional problems. We are proud to support this wonderful cause.
The Caisse, in partnership with FIQ, contributes financially to Fondation SABSA. Its mission is to promote health by supporting nurses and workers who are part of its Coopérative de solidarité, so that they may provide health care services to vulnerable clients experiencing difficulties in accessing the system. Every time a FIQ member opens an account at our Caisse, we donate $50 to the foundation. Our caisse is proud to support this wonderful cause.
