The CISSS de la Montérégie-Est demonstrated innovation with the April 2022 launch of its microsite, Info-stage. It is now the go-to reference tool for interns and teaching staff. Since the launch, no fewer than 8,733 people have visited the site!

Thanks to the microsite, students, interns, teachers and supervisors can quickly and easily find up-to-date information about internships. The five sections (home, internship placements, interns, supervisors and FAQs) are a gold mine of information for future interns!

Previously, ahead of internships DEUR staff would send each intern a COVID-19 kit and an electronic information package, which led to multiple email exchanges. Needless to say, the sheer volume of emails increased response times and required a lot of resources! The site significantly reduces both response times and the overall number of emails and calls.

The site was established to improve communication with partners, speed up application processing, and promote a positive internship and supervision experience. This experience makes it more likely that interns will choose us or stay on for subsequent internships.
