To support the rollout of investigation clinics in oncology at CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, our local clinical team and developers helped implement a custom tool that fully meets the requirements of the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
The solution was designed to track our patient cohort in real time, eliminate duplicate data entry, simplify reporting for our clinical teams, and most importantly, improve work flows to reduce bottlenecks that hinder patient access and delay the start of treatment.
After a resounding success, a presentation was made to the entire network, which generated a lot of interest. We were then asked if we could share the tool with other institutions, and we enthusiastically agreed.
